Ice Cream and Celery Post

"Eat ice cream daily
for happiness."
Sharpie pen drawing of a
restaurant kid's meal toy:
circa 1990?
Collage from scrapbook and
origami papers.
Pen drawing on 'Day Timer'
calendar/organizer page.

Collage from vintage magazine.

Life magazine, 1956.

Sharpie pen drawing on
calendar/organizer page, of a
restaurant dinosaur toy, circa 1990's?
 Scrapbook papers and vintage ad
illustrations, along with text from the
same ads. Post cereal on one side,
and Campbell's celery soup on the
other side. Watercolor washes
also on pen drawing.

I don't think this particular
dinosaur eats celery...

Who could resist a great photo
of celery?

They don't make 'em
like that any more.

  1. Well, I may be even MORE lost than I was before, but I sure adore these two pages. I am a BIG FAN of old mid-century modern ads. They are the best! And your drawings and collages are awesome (as usual, of course)!!
