I can tell you the answer for me, since I have no living relatives. But YOU have lots of family. Of course, your character may be more like me and less like you (grin).
I'm growing fonder and fonder of this lady. I would treasure a journal she left behind. I have a sneaking suspicion of how this year's fake journal will end.
Good question. One I've considered with no firm resolution. I hope my journals will live on with my family. But knowing that often storage space is very precious, mine may wind up in a dump someplace. At Goodwill, at least someone else might buy them and give them a new life.....sigh....
